Feeding Families in Need
With rising rent prices across Palm Beach and Broward Counties, homelessness is on the rise, leaving many families struggling to afford even basic necessities. As living costs increase, more parents find it difficult to put food on the table for their children.
Why the Supper Support Squad is Necessary:
- Surge in homelessness: Rent hikes are pushing more families out of their homes.
- Higher living costs: Food and temporary housing prices have reached record levels.
- Weekly food cost: It takes $400 to feed a family for one week.
To combat this growing crisis, we’ve launched the Supper Support Squad, a community initiative dedicated to providing families in our programs with much-needed assistance in the form of food.
Our Goal
- $3,000 each quarter to ensure we can feed and support families in need.
- Every dollar raised goes toward providing critical nourishment and care for the families in our Road to Independence.
We believe that with community support, no family should go hungry. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to families during their most challenging times.
